• Buy a three-way trap for Hornets, Wasps & Yellow Jackets at the Dunsmuir Hardware Store for $10. (Regularly priced at $14.99).
• The Dunsmuir Lodge is offering rides to Pacific Crest Trail Hikers for $10 on Second Saturdays. Normally, guests staying at the lodge can receive this deal and non guests would need to pay $15.
• You can enjoy Happy Hour at La Perla Mexican Restaurant from 3 to 6 pm. Margaritas for $5 and certain appetizers for $5.99.

Ray Beldner's work will be on display in the lobby's hotel through December 9 and will be available for purchase. Shastica Beauty Apothecary, Mt. The meal includes Stuffed Squash Blossoms as the starter, Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine as the main course and Poached Pears with Zabaione for dessert. $31 for this meal.  Pair it with Chianti for $40. •  At The Haven from 1:30-2:30 pm, Linda Mattos Soprano and classical guitarists Kevin McDowell and Mike Yee will perform classical music selections by J.S. Bach, Faure, Hahn, Mozart and more. The Haven will also hold a Second Saturday sale that includes Classical CD' for a $1, as well as Halloween specials on Mid Century Horror, Pulp and Science Fiction paperback novels. You'll also want to check out The Haven's extensive collections of  chomolithographs and photogravures. 
Magic Mountain Massage & Wellness will have fun Tie Dye clothes on sale for 25% off, $10 off 1-hour Floatation Tank session and gift certificates.
Mossbrae Hotel will feature landscape paintings by Dunsmuir local Brian Mackenzie from 3 to 6 pm. The Lone Arranger will play classical guitar from 3:30 to 5 pm. Also, Shastica Beauty Apothecary will do a pop up shop in the lobby and offer samples of her handcrafted products for sale. The first ten people to visit Shastica will receive a special Second Saturday gift. Pyroclastic Chocolate will also be selling her artisan chocolates. 

• Register to vote at Pops Performing Arts from 2 to 5 pm and meet artist Tracy Hofmann. She is the contributing artist for the Tiny Pricks: Tweets, Textiles and Trump on display in the windows at Pops Performing Arts & Cultural Center.  She will have Tiny Pricks needle point kits available if you want to contribute to the project.

• Medicine Music will host a dance event with DJ Brian Kadmiri on the patio at Pops Performing Arts from 7 to 10 pm. Entrance is $10 to 20. There will also be an acoustic guitar performance at 4 pm the following day, October 11 on the Patio with Rusty Miller.

• Cherokee Native American and garden guru Two Leaf will play flute and drums outdoors at the Dunsmuir Community Garden from 9 to 11 am. Weather permitting. Check out the garden's new water feature coordinated by the Dunsmuir Community Resource Center.
Dunsmuir Brewery Works is opening their new outdoor garden dining area. They'll be open noon to 8 pm. 
• The Dunsmuir Supermarket is offering $1 off their deli sandwiches.

Dunsmuir Second Saturday Events: Dec 14, 2019

• Dunsmuir's Annual Candles in the Canyon festival will be happening throughout town. You'll be able to meet Santa at the Dunsmuir Rotary Breakfast at 8:30 to 10 am at the Dunsmuir Community Center, or the Pizza Factory at 5:30 pm, get your face painted at the Dunsmuir Resource Center, watch the Christmas Parade at 5 pm or a choir at the Methodist Church at 7 pm.

• Bite this Chew on That Pet Store will offer popcorn from old fashioned popcorn maker.

• The Cornerstone Café is now open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Stop by, order an entrée, and you'll receive grilled zucchini appetizers for free.

• The Dunsmuir Hardware Store will be fully stocked on your holiday tree needs--Christmas lights, garlands, and tree stands.

• A Craft Faire will be happening in the Farmer's Insurance building from 11 to 3 pm.

• The Haven, Dunsmuir's newest coffee shop, will be having their grand opening at 10am. Come check out their Christmas Tree made of books, and guess how many books it is made of. Beautiful antique furniture in the store will be selling for half off.

• Magic Mountain Wellness & Massage will offer a restorative yoga class from 2:30- 4 pm, a weekly belly dance class from 11 am to 12 pm, and a yin yoga class from 12:30-1:30 pm. You can also see new artworks by Christine O'Brien in a show entitled “Story Art.”.

• Mossbrae Hotel is excited to hold a reception for two artists: Janet Crittenden and Lou Wandro who will be showing a combination of realist and landscape paintings from 3 to 5 pm. Music, refreshments and room tours will be provided.

• The Sacred Well will have a presentation called Healthy Holiday Hacks with Natali Gail at 1 pm. It will feature tips for staying your best through the busy holiday season. Love offering $15.

• Sten's Burger's will be serving Hot Chocolate with Peppermint, Crème de Menthe or Cherry flavors, as well as Egg Nog, Peppermint and Cherry Milkshakes.

• Siskiyou Arts Museum is hosting an artists' receptions for their new exhibit, entitled “Fire & Ice" from 5 to 7 pm.

• The Ted Fay Fly Shop will be paying your sale tax with any purchase in their store on Dunsmuir Second Saturday.

• The Wheelhouse will be offering Community Group Games at 6:30 pm.
