Here’s What’s Happening - Saturday, August 9, 2020 in Dunsmuir:

• Bite this Chew on That Pet Store will offer nail clipping for your pet  from 3 to 6 pm for $10. 
• Get a $1 off any coffee or espresso drink at The Cornerstone Restaurant 8 am to 2 pm. You'll also want to check out their new breakfast menu and mediterranean lunches.
• Enjoy a Prix Fixe dinner at Cafe Maddalena's from 5 to 9 pm. This special Second Saturday menu includes Crispy Squash Blossoms as an  appetizer, Cold Poached Salmon Salad with lemon mayonnaise, and Chocolate Pave to complete the meal. $32 for this meal.. $40 with a glass of Bianco Veneto. Reservations recommended. 

• Indulge in the Parisian Special at The Dough Hook. It includes a plain baguette, a pastry of your choice from the case, and a medium coffee for $7.00. They will be open from  6 am to 2 pm..

• Buy night crawlers for your fishing adventure at the Dunsmuir Hardware. You can get them on this Saturday for $4.29 instead of $5.29.

• Check out vintage chromolithographs at The Haven. You can also get three squares of homemade fudge for $10 and hot dogs and burritos, too. 

• Magic Mountain Massage & Wellness will give tours all day of the new Sensory Deprivation Float Tank and Salt Therapy room! Sessions available starting Sunday August 9th by appointment only. Their number is (530) 500 1505. Discount packages offered.

• Mossbrae Hotel will feature the works of local artist Stev Sechovec in  their lobby from 3 to 6 pm .Rick Garrett will play latin fingerstyle guitar from 4 to 6 pm. Light refreshments provided. The show entitled.Networks of Interaction will be on display through September 9 and the art will be for sale, as well. • Medicine Music will host a dance event with DJ Brian Kadmiri on the patio at Pops Performing Arts from 7 to 10 pm. Entrance is $10 to 20. 

•  You'll be able to check out a new art show entitled "Suspending Time" featuring works by Jennifer Pentrack, Richard Fox & Eric Blomberg at the Siskiyou Arts Museum from noon to 6 pm. 
• Sip on a healthy beverage while shopping for jewelry at The Sacred Well. They are offering 10% off their jewelry that day and a $1 off on their drinks. They offer hand-blended herbal teas, healthy organic coffee infused with mushroom extract for longevity and wellness, and delicious hot chocolate with lavender and rose flavors.

• The Ted Fay Fly Shop will be paying your sales tax with any purchase in their store on Dunsmuir Second Saturday.
• Buy a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with a Coors Beer for $12.99 at The Wheelhouse from 8 am to 6 pm. 
•  Wonderland Music Record Shop will host a local DJ showcase from 5 to 7 pm.  They are also holding a sale: 30% off tapes, 20% off Cd's, VHS and DVD's and 10% off t-shirts and posters
