Dunsmuir Second Saturday Events: Dec 14, 2019

• Dunsmuir's Annual Candles in the Canyon festival will be happening throughout town. You'll be able to meet Santa at the Dunsmuir Rotary Breakfast at 8:30 to 10 am at the Dunsmuir Community Center, or the Pizza Factory at 5:30 pm, get your face painted at the Dunsmuir Resource Center, watch the Christmas Parade at 5 pm or a choir at the Methodist Church at 7 pm.

• Bite this Chew on That Pet Store will offer popcorn from old fashioned popcorn maker.

• The Cornerstone Café is now open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Stop by, order an entrée, and you'll receive grilled zucchini appetizers for free.

• The Dunsmuir Hardware Store will be fully stocked on your holiday tree needs--Christmas lights, garlands, and tree stands.

• A Craft Faire will be happening in the Farmer's Insurance building from 11 to 3 pm.

• The Haven, Dunsmuir's newest coffee shop, will be having their grand opening at 10am. Come check out their Christmas Tree made of books, and guess how many books it is made of. Beautiful antique furniture in the store will be selling for half off.

• Buy one gift certificate and get one free at Olde Thyme Tattoo.

• Magic Mountain Wellness & Massage will offer a restorative yoga class from 2:30- 4 pm, a weekly belly dance class from 11 am to 12 pm, and a yin yoga class from 12:30-1:30 pm. You can also see new artworks by Christine O'Brien in a show entitled “Story Art.”.

• Mossbrae Hotel is excited to hold a reception for two artists: Janet Crittenden and Lou Wandro who will be showing a combination of realist and landscape paintings from 3 to 5 pm. Music, refreshments and room tours will be provided.

• The Sacred Well will have a presentation called Healthy Holiday Hacks with Natali Gail at 1 pm. It will feature tips for staying your best through the busy holiday season. Love offering $15.

• Sten's Burger's will be serving Hot Chocolate with Peppermint, Crème de Menthe or Cherry flavors, as well as Egg Nog, Peppermint and Cherry Milkshakes.

• Siskiyou Arts Museum is hosting an artists' receptions for their new exhibit, entitled “Fire & Ice" from 5 to 7 pm.

• The Ted Fay Fly Shop will be paying your sale tax with any purchase in their store on Dunsmuir Second Saturday.

• The Wheelhouse will be offering Community Group Games at 6:30 pm.
